Meet Michael A. Michelli, Au.D. FAAA

Dr. Michael Michelli has been an Audiologist for 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Hearing and Speech Science from Ohio University – Athens, Ohio; a Master’s Degree in Audiology from Gallaudet University – Washington DC; and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Science – AT Still University.

Dr. Michelli has owned Brandywine Hearing Center since 2010 and worked for the previous owner from 2000 until purchasing the business. He is active in multiple Hearing Healthcare organizations and is a Member of the American Academy of Audiology, the International Hearing Society and the Hearing Society of Maryland, Delaware, and DC, where he served two terms as President. He was recently appointed to the State of Delaware Licensing Board for the professions of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Hearing Aid Dispensers for the second time. The board’s duty is to regulate licensed professionals and safeguard consumers. During his previous appointment he served on this board for six years and spent two years as President. In 2022 he joined the Beltone network, adding the Beltone offices in Newark, Dover and Millsboro to the Brandywine Hearing Center family.

Dr. Michelli’s wife is a Social Worker and they have two children, a son who graduated from Towson University and is working towards dental school, and a daughter who is an undergraduate student at University of Pittsburgh and is majoring in Architecture.
