Meet Michael A. Michelli, Au.D. FAAA

Dr. Michael Michelli has been an Audiologist for more than 25 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Hearing and Speech Science from Ohio University – Athens, Ohio; a Master’s Degree in Audiology from Gallaudet University – Washington DC; and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Science – AT Still University.

Dr. Michelli has owned Brandywine Hearing Center since 2010 and worked for the previous owner from 2000 until purchasing the business. He is active in multiple Hearing Healthcare organizations and is a Member of the American Academy of Audiology, the International Hearing Society and the Hearing Society of Maryland, Delaware, and DC, where he served two terms as President. He was recently appointed to the State of Delaware Licensing Board for the professions of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Hearing Aid Dispensers for the second time. The board’s duty is to regulate licensed professionals and safeguard consumers. During his previous appointment he served on this board for six years and spent two years as President.

Dr. Michelli’s wife is a Social Worker and they have two children, a son who is in college studying Biology and is an honor student working towards dental school, and a daughter who is a senior in high school who plays varsity softball and basketball and is an honor student as well. She hopes to study Political Science in college.
